The 39th Annual Fort Scott Good Ol’ Days Festival kicks off on Thursday, May 30 with Fort Scott Talent! The show starts at 6pm at Memorial Hall in Historic Downtown Fort Scott. Join us in cheering on your friends & family at this one night event! The competition is no longer limited to musical acts, so if you have what it takes to impress the judges and crowd then don’t miss out on this chance to show off your talent! After the show head over to the carnival from 7-11pm!

This year’s Good Ol’ Days Festival will be bigger & better than ever so we decided to have not one, but two concerts! Join us Friday, May 31st at 8:00pm for Restless Heart live in concert. The event will be held at Memorial Hall, with limited seating be sure to get your ticket early! VIP tickets are $40 for a floor seat & a private VIP bar area. General Admission tickets are $25 each.
We’ll get started bright and early Saturday, June 1 with the Dragoon Charge at 8am! Then downtown Fort Scott will come alive with craft vendors, food trucks, a carnival, pony rides, live entertainment and so much more! If you make something awesome that you want to show off sign up as a vendor! Red Garter will perform its first show and will continue all day on Saturday beginning at 10 am at Liberty Theatre. Of course Fort Scott Munitions will be hosting its Customer Appreciation Day beginning at 8am complete with Car & Bike Show. Oh, and did we mention they are also going to be raffling off a custom Harley Davidson?!?!
After the Good Ol’ Days Festival street fair join us at Memorial Hall in Downtown Fort Scott for a beach party with Still Surfin’ A Muscial Tribute to the Beach Boys live in concert! The concert will be on Saturday, June 1st at 8:00pm. Tickets are $25 for VIP which includes a floor seat & VIP bar area. General admission tickets are $15 each.
2019 FSCC Summer Showcase Tournaments
If you love baseball, this tournament will not disappoint! The FSCC Greyhounds will join over 30 other teams at the Dave Regan Staudium at LaRoche Baseball Complex May 30 - June 1st. Dave Regan Stadium at LaRoche Baseball Complex is located in Fort Scott, KS. It a new complex built in 2015 with a turf infield and bermuda grass outfield, and all the modern amenities of a brand new, $4 million, first class baseball facility.
Symbols of Sacrifice at the Fort Scott National Historic Site - Memorial Day Weekend
Fort Scott National Historic Site is pleased to present Symbols of Sacrifice Memorial Weekend, from May 24-27, 2019, honoring the sacrifice of Americans throughout our nation's history. The main focus of the event will be a Field of Honor on the historic Fort parade grounds, where US flags will fly for service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep this county free. The purpose is to remember the fallen, their sacrifice, and their humanity, not to glorify war.
