For use of the Twin Mansion
Policies: With your rental of the Lyons Twin Mansions (LTM) we accept responsibility for arranging as you have indicated our chairs, tables and other equipment included in the rental fee. Table linens, napkins, and table drapes are your responsibility. Pick up, delivery and arrangement of equipment or furnishings rented from another source is your responsibility. Choosing décor and placement of those decorations is your responsibility. The Mansion’s permanent décor serves as a neutral background for you to use to express your individuality.
No staples, tacks or nails are allowed to be used on any surface in the Mansion.
Full Day Rental: You are responsible for removing all decorations, returning rented furnishings, clean up, and trash removal by not later than noon the next day. An hourly fee will be applied after noon.
Hourly Rental: All set up and clean up must be completed within your rental hours.
Deposit: 50% non-refundable rental deposit due upon booking. LTM must have a Credit Card authorization form on file. There is no guarantee for your date until the non-refundable deposit is in place. Balance of rental is due in full two weeks before event.
Non-Smoking Facility: Due to the historic nature of our homes and furnishings, smoking inside the Mansions is prohibited. Ashtrays and covered smoking areas are provided on the porches and in the gardens.
Damage & Cleaning to premise: A $250 fee will be charged should the facility or grounds require excessive cleaning or furnishings are found to be damaged by smoking or carelessness.
Noise: As a courtesy to our neighbors, excessively loud noise or music is not allowed.
Indoor and outdoor parties must end by 11:00 in the evening.
Attendees who are not overnight guests of the Bed & Breakfast must leave the premise at that time.
Processional: Bubbles, bells, or fresh flower petals are suggested for weddings and receptions; please refrain from silk petals, rice or birdseed.
Catering: You may use an outside catering service. Use of our caterer’s kitchen, prep tables, dishes & equipment is complimentary. Encourage your caterer to make a site visit ahead of time to plan the staging for your event. It is the caterer’s responsibility to leave the kitchen clean, dishes washed and put away and trash removed.
Candles: Use of candles other than on dining table tops must be approved by Miss Pat or Nate Lyons.
We offer the complimentary use of our dripless, smokeless candles and a variety of candelabra.
Alcohol: Alcohol must be purchased onsite from LTM. Alcohol purchased from LTM must be consumed on premise (Inquire about premise boundaries). Exceptions: Kegs are allowed on premise by approval of LTM and can only be setup and served outside: a Keg Fee will apply. Select wines and champagnes may also be brought on premise with permission from LTM. A $10 per bottle corkage fee will be charged for wines and champagnes not purchased from LTM. LTM staff cannot handle, store or serve any alcohol brought on premise. Valid ID must be provided for purchase of alcohol. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 21. Bring your driver’s license.
Over-intoxication, vulgar language or improper behaviors will not be tolerated.
Pricing:
- Hours: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm (No Exceptions)
- Sunday through Thursday $300 all day or $25.00/hour
- Friday until 5:00 pm $ 25.00/hour
- Friday Evening 5:00 – 11:00 $ 50.00/hour
- Friday evening 6 hour block $250.00 all evening
- Saturday full day 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm $500.00 all day
- Add Friday for set- up and rehearsal $250.00 additional
